Medway Runners is a student-led running community at the University of Greenwich’s Medway Campus, bringing students together through running, fitness, and friendship.
We’re more than just a sports club.
University life can be exciting, but it can also be busy - lectures, deadlines, exams, work, and everything in between. Our runs give you a chance to step away from it all, move your body, clear your mind, meet people, and enjoy university life together.
You don’t need to be an experienced runner.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into running, getting back into it, or already love running, you’re welcome. Our sessions will begin with accessible, shorter runs and develop throughout the year as our community grows.
We’re also planning challenges, social runs, charity events, sponsored runs, treasure-hunt-style activities and other surprises along the way.
Our philosophy is simple:
You show up. We take it from there.
Come with comfortable sports clothing, suitable trainers and a bottle of water. Bring weather-appropriate clothing too - because a little rain shouldn’t stop us!
No pressure. No need to be the fastest. Just your pace, your people, and your community.
