Black History Month
Every October, we celebrate the role that black people have played in shaping Britain's cultural, economic, political, and scientific landscapes. Greenwich Students' Union, Kent Students' Union and Christ Church Students' Union have lots on offer to celebrate Black History Month 2024 - Reclaiming Narratives!

Greenwich Students' Union
GSU have put together an online exhibit for BHM 2024 - Reclaiming Narratives! They have also pulled together some words from Greenwich staff and students alike, celebrating success of black people. In October, they are having a discussion on how race and ethnicity shape a student's sense of belonging and identity on campus.
Kent Students' Union
KSU have created an extensive Black History Month resource library, as well as organising dozens of events that students can get involved in this month, including a Black Student Market! Other events include those organised by the University as well as a number of student societies and groups.
