Rebecca is an outstanding student leader who consistently supports her peers, engages with the wider community, and promotes the programme and University with professionalism and enthusiasm.
As a Year 1 Student Representative on my programme, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to enhancing the student experience. She has actively represented the Year 1 cohort, effectively communicating student perspectives on teaching, learning, and practical sessions. Through her initiative and constructive engagement, she has strengthened dialogue between students and academic staff, helping to foster a supportive and responsive learning environment.
Beyond her representative role, she has shown remarkable dedication to community engagement and public health nutrition education. She contributed to improving nutrition awareness among local primary school pupils by delivering interactive workshops at Blean Primary School, where she spoke to both KS1 and KS2 pupils about the importance of healthy eating and how different foods support our bodies to grow, learn, and thrive.
As a programme ambassador, she further represented the University by attending both the British Nutrition Society conference and the British Nutrition Foundation conference, strengthening connections with professional bodies and demonstrating strong enthusiasm for the field of nutrition.
Overall, she is an outstanding student leader who consistently supports her peers, engages with the wider community, and promotes the programme and University with professionalism and enthusiasm.
