Daria adopts an inclusive approach, which ensures that all students have access to these opportunities.
Daria has been an outstanding advocate for Law students. In so doing she has sensitively raised concerns about the programme and offered solutions that benefit the students and staff. As a result, her feedback has contributed to the strengthening of the programme. She also leads the Bar Society, and in so doing scopes opportunities for Law students to engage in activities that will enhance their networks and opportunities for entry into legal careers. She adopts an inclusive approach, which ensures that all students have access to these opportunities. This is really important for students who are from marginalised backgrounds, and face barriers in terms of accessing legal careers. She has hosted a number of excellent community events for Law students, thus enhancing their sense of belonging on the programme. She also really represents the University and her programme well through these events and in her engagement at Open days and other external events. I truly wish her the very best and it is a real honour to ensure that she received recognition for this work.
