Through their Voices of Change podcast, they addressed pressing topics relevant to both students and the professionals supporting them, such as the Graduate Care Cliff, starting university, securing accommodation, transitioning into university life, and wellbeing.
The team behind Voices of Change podcast wanted to reach a wider audience and help other young care experienced and estranged students understand that they weren’t alone in facing some of the challenges in their journey to and through university.
What they hadn’t anticipated was that these podcasts would also serve as a fantastic tool for educating practitioners as well. Through their Voices of Change podcast, they addressed pressing topics relevant to both students and the professionals supporting them, such as the Graduate Care Cliff, starting university, securing accommodation, transitioning into university life, and wellbeing.
They were invited to present at the Care Leaver Progression Partnership (CLPP) and the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Conferences in 2025. Their podcast is available on Spotify, listen by clicking here.
