A Tamil Meet and Greet in September is essential as it provides new and returning students with an opportunity to build connections and establish a strong sense of community at the very start of the academic year. Many students, particularly freshers, are looking for a welcoming environment where they can make friends and connect with others who share similar cultural interests and backgrounds. Hosting this event early encourages greater engagement with the society, increases participation in future events, and helps foster an inclusive space that celebrates Tamil culture and heritage while supporting students' transition into university life.
