GSU offers a two week taster period, meaning you can come along and experience our training sessions completely free. It's the perfect opportunity to meet the squad, improve your skills, and see what Dance is all about before committing.

We're developing Student Research Pods: student-led, staff-supported groups where students could explore ideas beyond their usual coursework, meet people from across the University, develop valuable skills and create work to present, publish or showcase.

They could help you:

Meet students and staff from across the University
Build research, communication and teamwork skills
Develop an idea, project or piece of work
Find opportunities to present, publish or showcase your work

Help us shape the Research Pods

Before deciding how the Pods will operate, we want to hear directly from students. Join us for coffee and cake and help us understand what would make a Research Pod interesting, useful and accessible to you.

You don't need to have research experience or an existing project idea. We are interested in hearing from students from every subject and level of study!

Join Coffee, Cake & Consult on 18 November 2026, 3.00–5.00pm, and tell us what would make a Research Pod useful, accessible and worth joining.

The Greenwich Doctoral College (GDC) invites you to a Medway specific Postgraduate Researcher discussion, on 8^th October, 1-2pm with Steve Miles, and Kate Southgate, Heads of the Doctoral College and Doctoral Services, to confidentially discuss any concerns you might have about plans for the GDC and more broadly to do with your PGR experience at the University of Greenwich.

The session is aimed to provide an opportunity for a confidential and honest discussion so that the GDC can work with you to best ensure these concerns are fully understood and addressed in the best interests of PGRs across your faculty and beyond.

Don't make the team? Don't worry, we have lots of GIAG sports sessions along with our friends at Active Life running some pick up and play sessions also
